New York 7s 2018

Rogue Samurai fielded 4 teams for Ny 7s.  Every team did very well.  It was the first time that any of the Rogue teams played premier.  The women's Rogue team did very well as they were slated to play some of the top 7s teams in the nation.  Their first game was against Scion.  The game was fairly even until one of Rogues key players got injured.  Jetta sprained her ankle and it proved to hinder out play for the rest of the game.  The final score was 30 - 10 but the score does not reflect how well Rogue played. The team went on to play Northeast Academy 1 and 3.  They played well against both and only lost by 1 point to NE academy 3.  The tounament ended with the Rogue women qualifying for the bowl final.

The Rogue Samurai Men  also had a very good showing at the tournament.  There were both a mens club side and a social side.  The men's social side played in the bowl final whiel the club side made it to the plate final.  The club team played very well in the club final and brought home the first piece of hardware that Rogue has won at NY 7s.  Congrats to those players that made it happen.
